Valle Nevado offers access to the largest skiable domain in South America: nearly 7,000 acres. With such a vast amount of terrain the resort caters to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Valle Nevado boasts 80% sunny days, but because of the resort’s high altitude and orientation the quality of Valle Nevado’s snow remains in optimum conditions.

The two neighboring and connected ski resorts of La Parva and El Colorado allow for even more skiable acreage, so there is plenty to ski and see.
Skiing in the summer may seem like a decadent addition to your ski vacation time, but it is a great way to stay current on all that you learned last season.  Instead of being off snow for a whole year, a mid summer tune up keeps the muscle memory of what happened last season, and when you hit the slopes in winter you can pick up where you left off.

Our accommodation, the Hotel Puerta Del Sol is located right on the slopes of Valle Nevado and has many amenities.  It will serve as our home away from home for a week in the South American Andes.
